When I was a toddler my mom wrote songs about my sisters and me. If she did any of the verses out of order or skipped anything, I would scream and cry until she did the entire thing, start to finish, exactly how it was originally written.
Some things have changed since then. Believe it or not, when I was thirteen I actually wanted to be a minister and my favorite music was pop country. I had a little goth phase. I was a pretty judgmental child. I say I'm not any more, though it does creep back into me once in a while.
My favorite memory is swimming into the middle of the hidden lake in Ludington with my sister where there was a reedy little island.
I was called out a month ago for saying "Penn and Teller" five times in two minutes.
